A significant transformation is underway for two prominent office buildings in Birmingham’s business district. 2 Colmore Square and Cannon House are getting a comprehensive makeover to establish a newly branded destination called ‘Multistory’.
The redevelopment project will introduce 75,000 square feet of high-quality grade A office space, catering to modern business needs. Additionally, the project incorporates 15,000 square feet of amenity space, creating a conducive environment for tenants.
The design includes a contemporary reception connected to quiet work zones, redefining the entry at Colmore Square. The Old Square entrance transforms into a multifunctional area providing informal seating and meeting arrangements.
Occupants will benefit from co-working areas, bookable meeting rooms, and a fully equipped auditorium designed to accommodate 100 individuals, fostering a collaborative and dynamic work setting.
Plans feature a 2,000 square foot outdoor terrace and a community bar, promoting social interaction. A transport facility in the basement will support electric vehicles, offering 10 charging stations and secure bicycle storage.
Retail and leisure spaces, occupying 27,000 square feet, will line The Priory Queensway, enhancing the area’s commercial appeal, with availability expected by early next year.
